Keela Burgeson is a conceptual artist and illustrator who uses 2D multi-media techniques to create physical and digital works through research and a curiosity for the ugly beauties hiding in plain sight. Keela creates surreal compositions full of mystery. Currently striving for a BFA in Studio Art at Texas State University, Keela is a passionate and curious individual. Born in San Antonio, Keela now lives in Central Texas. Her most prominent inspirations for her work include Music, her journeys to Europe, M.C. Escher, Hannah Höch, and Takashi Murakami’s body of work.
